Creative Motion Control Week 0: Setup

This page contains a list of items that should be completed BEFORE the first class session so that we can give you access to course content, software, and other tools. Please complete all items below and reach out to the course instructors if you have questions.

Fill out Course Survey​

Please fill out this short survey. We need this info to organize teams and give you access to course materials

Once you have filled out the survey, you will receive two invites:

  1. Github Organization: github.com/Creative-Motion-Control-Course
    This is where all your documentation will live. We will go over the setup process on the first day of class, but this guide covers the details.
  2. Discord Server
    This is where all out-of-class communication will take place. We strongly recommend installing the Discord desktop app available at discord.com/download.

Set up Arduino Programming Environment​

We will be doing all embedded programming using the Arduino IDE and Stepdance Software Library (SSL) for the Teensy 4.1 microcontroller. Follow these instructions to get set up to program on day 1: Arduino and Stepdance Preparation.
